Take time to consider what it is you truly want from a relationship and prepare a list ahead of time of the qualities you desire in a lover.
You will need:
•1 red spell candle
•Cinnamon, jasmine, or rose essential oil
•Athame, or other carving tool
•White paper
•Red pencil or marker
•Scissors
•Wax paper
Carve a heart shape or another symbol that represents love into the candle, and then anoint it with the oil. Light the candle, and let the wax to start melt.
In the meantime, cut two heart shapes, around the size of your palms, out of the paper.
With the red pencil or marker, take one of the hearts and write the most important qualities you seek in a partner and a relationship. On the other heart, write a list of qualities you have to offer in a relationship.
Hold the hearts in your hands for few seconds and focus on bringing new love into your life.
Now, place the hearts so that they overlap each other on a sheet of wax paper. Speaking aloud, begin to list the qualities written on each heart.
As you list each one, drip a few drops of wax onto the hearts to seal them together. When you have finished speaking and the hearts are sealed, say the following (or words that are meaningful to you) words:
“Passionate hearts, passionate minds, Passionate souls, we now entwine. So let it be.”
Put the hearts on your altar or in a special place in your home. Allow the candle to burn out on its own completely.
